The May newsletter was published on Monday. Find it here if you haven’t had a glimpse yet.
I’m still waiting on approximately 1/3 of 6M’s community service forms for VIP. Constable MacKinnon has requested that each student put in at least one hour of service to qualify for the Fun Day at Gesstwood Camp on June 16th. (I will need chaperones for this date so mark it on your calendar; if you think you can attend, fill in the bottom portion of the permission form when it comes home.) Paige was selected to attend Cop Camp this summer, and the winner of the bicycle will be announced next week.
Track and field takes place next Wednesday. You’re welcome to come out and watch all the feats of athleticism going on; bring a lawn chair for comfort!
Springtime socializing is escalating in 6M and it’s having an impact on productivity. It’s not all, mind you, but certainly noticeable and slowing our progress. Thus, I will be more vigilant when awarding and deducting Class Dojo points starting next week. For most, there should be little change in their weekly reports but some may see a slip. Just know that I’ll be less lenient until we return the form we’ve had earlier in the year.
Happy wet weekend!
